When a project demands absolute structural flat sheets, structural rigidity, and multi-year outdoor survival, 3mm ACM is the professional trade standard. Engineered as a sandwich panel, it features two 0.008" structural aluminum skinsthermally bonded to a dense, solid black polyethylene core. This composite design creates a "dampening" effect—giving you the tensile strength of solid aluminum at a fraction of the weight, with a face that is completely immune to the oil-canning, warping, or buckling common with raw sheet metal.

Printed directly on our grand-format industrial flatbed tables, the UV-cured inks form a mechanical bond with the factory-enameled white coating, making the finished sign completely waterproof, rustproof, and chemically resistant.

⚠️ Pre-Press & Fabrication Advisory (Crucial Trade Spec)

Because ACM is a true metal-composite matrix, it requires specialized CNC machining rather than standard knife cutting:

• Precision CNC Routing: All panels are routed on our automated CNC beds, leaving a clean, smooth, un-burred aluminum edge profile with a visible black polyethylene center core pin-stripe.

• Drill Hole Placement: If selecting pre-drilled holes in the pricing matrix, our CNC will route standard 0.25" mounting holes. Please keep all critical text and logos at least 0.75" away from the outer edges to comfortably clear large structural fasteners and fender washers.

• Bleed Margin: Supply files with a standard 0.125" bleed for clean, edge-to-edge full-bleed panels. Keep live art 0.25" inside the final trim line.
