When failure is not an option, this is the substrate you specify. Unlike standard calendared films that possess "shape memory" and shrink back over time, 3M™ IJ180Cv3 is a 2.0 mil premium cast vinyl engineered to stretch, conform, and stay down in deep channels, over heavy rivets, and around extreme compound curves.

Equipped with 3M Controltac™ technology, the surface layer contains microscopic glass spheres that prevent the adhesive from grabbing until firm squeegee pressure is applied—allowing installers to slide, align, and snap massive panels into place effortlessly. Once pressed, Comply™ v3 invisible air channels deliver a glass-smooth, paint-like finish with zero trapped bubbles.

• Lamination Note:Must be paired with a matching Premium Cast Overlaminate (selectable in the pricing calculator). Never pair a Cast print vinyl with a Calendared laminate, as the laminate will shrink over time and cause edge-curling.

Pre-Press & File Setup:

• Bleed: Please build 0.25" bleed on standard signs; 0.5" bleed recommended for vehicle wrap panels requiring edge-tucking.

• Tiling / Panel Overlap: If submitting tiled vehicle wrap graphics, please build in a standard 0.5" overlap between seams.

• Contour Cutting: Supply a 100% Magenta vector spot-color stroke named CutContour set to overprint.
