Engineered with an extra-thick, dense black polystyrene foam core sandwiched between a bright-white plastic printing face and a matte-black back facer, this board delivers incredible structural rigidity over massive spans without bowing or twisting.

The deep 1/2" black edge profile acts as a built-in frame, casting a dramatic shadow gap against the wall that instantly elevates the perceived retail value of the graphic.

⚠️ CNC Router & File Setup Notes (Crucial Trade Spec)

Because this material is a full half-inch thick, it behaves differently on our digital routing tables than thinner stocks:

• Router Kerf: Our CNC tables use an industrial router bit to slice through 1/2" foam. Please build your file to exact finished size, keeping all critical text and logos at least 0.25" away from the outer edge to clear the routing path.

• Tooling Radii: Due to the physical thickness of the cutting bit required for 1/2" boards, internal square corners will have a slight, natural rounded radius of 0.125". If your artwork requires 100% sharp interior square corners, please consult with our pre-press team prior to submitting the job.

• Cut Path: Supply a 100% scale vector file containing a closed, continuous vector stroke named CutContour set as a 100% Magenta spot color.

Adhesive & Handling Advisory:

• No Heavy Solvents: Strictly use water-based, solvent-free, or foam-safe adhesives (like specific liquid nails or premium double-sided VHB foam tape) when mounting. Standard solvent-based adhesives will dissolve the internal foam core.

• Handling: The deep matte-black back facer looks incredible but can capture oils from bare hands. We recommend installers handle the finished panels using clean cotton or latex gloves during final on-site installation.
