Engineered with a dense, solid black polystyrene foam core sandwiched between a high-brightness white plastic printing face and a matte black plastic back facer, this board behaves like a solid architectural element.

The solid black core creates a striking, premium dark edge that frames the print beautifully—completely eliminating the need for expensive frames or edge-capping. ### The Blockout Advantage: Because the core and back facer are solid black, this substrate possesses 100% complete light opacity. When hung as a double-sided ceiling sign directly beneath intense retail track lighting, the light cannot punch through the board, ensuring your graphics remain crisp, saturated, and highly legible from both sides.

⚠️ The "Solvent Melt" Advisory (Crucial Trade Warning)

If your installation crew plans to apply secondary mounting glues, contact cements, or heavy spray adhesives to the black back face of this board, strictly use 100% water-based or solvent-free adhesives. Solvent-based chemical cements will eat through the plastic facer and instantly dissolve the internal black foam core.

Pre-Press & CNC Routing Notes:

• The Dark Cut: When routed on our CNC flatbed tables, the router bit leaves a micro-smooth, solid black edge.

• Custom Shape Routing: Supply a 100% Scale vector file containing a closed, continuous vector stroke named CutContour set as a 100% Magenta spot color. Keep all internal corner radii to a minimum of 0.125" to accommodate standard router bits.

• Handling Note: The matte black back facer is highly premium but can show oily fingerprints if handled roughly by installers. We recommend your crew handles finished panels using clean cotton or latex gloves during final mounting.
